The first step in improving a school’s technology program and professional development is to determine where they are right now. In our Digital Education Leadership program, we were asked to conduct a Digital Education Readiness report for our schools. I examined the technology plan and program for my small, private, religious school. It was a time of excitement with regards to potential for the use of technology with students and teachers. Hardware was updated, policies were created and PLC’s were envisioned to help teachers better use the technology available to them.
